If your hosting Thanksgiving (or Friendsgiving!) this year, or just celebrating the end of another work week- this autumn sangria recipe is perfect. It can be made ahead of time and you can mix up a large batch if you’re expecting a bigger crowd.
Let’s face it- holiday hosting isn’t easy, so the more items you’re able to make ahead of time, the better. Although sangria can look fancy, it’s actually just as easy as putting everything into a large pitcher and then letting its flavors deepen for a few hours in the fridge. First, pick your favorite light-bodied red wine, add in some apple or orange brandy, then add in your favorite seasonal fruits. We recommend apples, pomegranate seeds, pears, and oranges!
The colors of this particular recipe fit the colors of fall perfectly, but this sangria can be made with a different wine or fruit combination. Oh and don’t forget a cinnamon stick for garnish! This drink is sure to put you and your guest in the ultimate fall feels! Cheers!
