The Jackson Whole Grocer has incorporated the triple bottom line concept into the core of our business. By implementing the triple bottom line we determine the economic, environmental and social factors involved with every key business decision. Adopting sustainability into an organization is a top-down cultural change that involves training for all of our staff on sustainability initiatives and empowers are staff to make decisions using the triple bottom line. At the Jackson Whole Grocer we have adopted The Natural Step sustainability framework to guide us inNovember of 2007. We are currently involved in the Yellowstone Business Partnership’s sustainability program, the Uncommon Sense to help further are sustainability efforts.
