LIGHTS OFF!
Lights Off is a community radio show on KHOL 89.1 hosted by our Director of Sustainability, Steven Michel and Brian Tanabe from Lower Valley Energy. On the show Brian and Steve interview local green experts about what they do in and around Teton County. The show airs every other Tuesday from 3PM to 3:30PM or you can listen to past shows on Itunes and at http://tetonarea10x10.org/
Jackson Whole Grocer Bag Credit Donation Program
The Jackson Whole Grocer offers a $0.05 bag credit for all of our patrons who use a reusable bag at the checkout stand. Our patrons have the option of donating that $0.05 credit to a local non-profit organization. We match all donations! In 2008 we donated the following amounts through our bag credit donation program:
- Slow Foods – $2,893.49
- 1 % for the Tetons – $3,123.26
- JH Community Foundation – $3,342.26
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - $32.10
