Community

At the Jackson Whole Grocer we strive to work with as many local organizations as we can as part of our efforts to be a community leader. Through working with local organizations we are able to achieve the following in our community:

  • Strengthen our local economy
  • Create a strong bond between the community and local foods
  • Provide jobs for local residents
  • Support family farms by providing an additional market for local produce
  • Maintain open space by supporting family farms
  • Build trust within the community

We are affiliated with the following local organizations:

LIGHTS OFF!
Lights Off is a community radio show on KHOL 89.1 hosted by our Director of Sustainability, Steven Michel and Brian Tanabe from Lower Valley Energy. On the show Brian and Steve interview local green experts about what they do in and around Teton County. The show airs every other Tuesday from 3PM to 3:30PM or you can listen to past shows on Itunes and at http://tetonarea10x10.org/
